I’m a 19-year-old who is trying to raise £25,000 to provide my church with brand new, professional standard stage equipment to make my late father (Founder of the church) proud. I have acquired a list of audio and musical equipment that will fulfil the church’s needs. These items are of professional standard and requires a large sum to be able to purchase all at once. I started this project on my own at the start of 2016 raising £2000 of my own money.
However, the official project “Stage Alert” started on October 31st 2016 on Kick-starter and ends on Dec 1 2016 12:20 AM GMT. The church “Macedonia House of Faith Ministry” is located in Northumberland Park Community School, Trulock Rd, North London N17 0PG, behind Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The church has its annual fundraising on December 4th 2016 and I have decided to renovate my church’s’ audio and musical equipment carrying on my father & I use to do. I have started a Kick-starter campaign that offers visitors the opportunity to donate any amount but also suggests twelve different reward levels from £10 to £2,000.
My father and I always use to shop for musical and audio equipment to transform our church’s sound, so we made a list of equipment to purchase. Unfortunately, in 2013 when I was just 16 years old, my father passed away with cancer. It was so hard to bare with and I forgot about the list. In 2015 something sparked in my mind about the musical standard in my church and I decided to pick up the equipment list that my father and I made. My initial thought was that I could do it all on my own. I planned to use some of my student finance, I got a job at a theme park to generate money and it was still not enough. After 10 months of trying to complete on my own, I was sitting down with a friend telling him why I work some much, and instantly he called me insane for trying to do it on my own. So he suggested Kick-starter.
